When the cherry blossoms start to fall, many swallows arrive in Japan to build their nests.

​In Japan, it is actually illegal to destroy a swallow's nest if there are eggs or chicks inside, but there is also a deeper reason. ​For this reason, Japan is a safe country for these birds.
